I was introduced to Telic at the Outdoor Retailer trade show earlier this month and accepted their offer to test a pair of Deep Ocean colored flip flops. It was day three of the five-day affair and my feet readily welcomed the soft, supportive cushioned soles of the Telic sandals after walking miles around the trade show floor. In fact, I liked them so much I wore them for the remainder of the show.
As a Southern California paddler, I pretty much live in flip flops. I have an indoor pair that I wear around the house, my “dress flip flops” consisting of a comfortable leather pair from Merrell and then the countless number of everyday outdoor sandals. As anyone who spends a lot of time in flip flops knows, the footwear can be hard on your knees over time as the material in the soles gradually breaks down or perhaps never existed in sufficient quantity to begin with.
