At least two California paddling events have been postponed / cancelled due to public health concerns related to COVID-19.

  • 10th annual Adler Paddler | Long Beach, CA – Postponed
  • 32nd annual Dana Point Ocean Challenge | Dana Point, CA – Cancelled

In addition to the two events, outrigger clubs within the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association (SCORA) are scaling back or canceling formal group practices. In a nod to the unknown longevity of COVID-19, SCORA advised clubs to refrain from making any non-refundable purchases on race-related expenses for the 2020 OC-6 racing season.

For updates and recommendations around COVID-19 please follow the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
